Colossians has been my book of choice this week.  ….”so walk in Him, rooted and built up in Him, and established in the faith, just as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving” (Col. 2:6b, ESV).  I am so glad, with all I had to deal with growing up, that I was rooted in Jesus Christ through it all.  These roots have been the reason I could face dealing with my father,  having a baby so young (when so many girls chose abortion), divorce, college/full time jobs/while being a mother, financial struggles, storms of life (literally – that take all I have ever had) and experiencing and growing in God.  I abound in thanksgiving this thanksgiving week! Thank you for my roots in Jesus Christ!
