We saw the most beautiful rainbow this week-end.

It was a double rainbow actually.

An awesome reminder of God’s love and promises.

Thankfully, we have a God who is forgiving, kind, merciful and trustworthy.

It is so hurtful when those we trust betray us.

It is so hard to be judged by those who so easily forgive their own sin…because they hide it so well?

I don’t know, but I do know that I don’t have to worry about man…I have to answer to God.

Once again, I remember the words of Ginny Ownes….

“God takes the broken pieces I have made of my life and weaves His mercy through them to write my beautiful story.”

I am not perfect.  I have broken pieces but God has kept His promise to love me through it all. 

He continues to weave His mercy through my broken pieces and I have such a beautiful story!

It is sad to me to know there are people who believe they have no broken pieces.  How can you be a Christian and believe this?

Isn’t that what Christianity is all about…we are broken and God is not.

Thank you God for your promises, and for keeping them.
