love?

“The end of a relationship is like a death only two people know about.”

Louise (Meg Ryan) Serious Moonlight

If Louise is right then is Alfred Lloyd Tennyson? “Tis better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all.”

I guess it is if this day comes:

TOSSING YOUR HEART TO CHANCE
YOU SWEAR THE DANCE WILL NEVER END

BUT THEN IT DOES AND SOMEONE SAYS GOODBYE
AND AFTER ALL THOSE EMPTY NIGHTS YOU CRIED
THE MORNING THAT YOU WAKE UP GOOD AS NEW

THAT’S THE KIND OF DAY I WISH FOR YOU

Wish for You – Faith Hill

If you are going through the end of a relationship…I understand.  My advice to anyone going through divorce, end of relationships, etc., is to fall in love with Jesus.  Know that the love of Jesus never ends.  It is true, unconditional, sacrificial love.  God has a purpose and we are to fulfill that purpose.  We will know love if we know God.  Our goal in life cannot be a relationship with a man.  Life cannot be about that.  It is so hard to have love end with someone you thought you would spend life with.  When we make our life about our relationship with Christ, then we know true love.  He will not leave us, betray us, disappoint us.  His love never fails.  His love never ends.  Life is about that Love.  The love of Jesus.  Our relationship with Jesus.
