Gentle rain falls… is it from the sky or could it be tears?

Or are they the same…tears and rain, joy and fears?

Tears are excretions from our soul,

Rain replenishes and brings life aglow.

God’s presence is like rain, both strong and sweet,

I feel this as the tears and rain drop on my feet.

God pours pure water and cleanses my soul,

And once again, my heart is aglow.

Thank you Lord, for the rain that sustains life, tears to endure life, and Holy Spirit so that I may have life.
